I was studying the writing on the fence when this eager little munchkin popped up. “Tell me about your fence,” I asked. She was happy to do so and prefaced her speech by asking, in all seriousness, “ Can you read?” When I assured her that I could, she launched into a complete account of the ten stations on her fitness course, including “Do a silly dance,” jumping jacks and many other challenges. I did the dance but apologized for not be properly dressed for the other tasks. Maybe I’ll be back with better shoes.
