Nest Show-and-Tell

Jack shared with me two nests that he and his Mom rescued after they had been abandoned by their owners. The one on the left is a cardinal, the right is a robin. Notice how the cardinals used pieces of bark to make a unique outer layer.

Amazing how each species builds their nests differently. It's great Jack found 2 different nests.
