A friend and former colleague sent me a lovely card today with the promise of a treat coming later. “Later” was actually sooner than expected. A beautifully packaged fragrant cinnamon coffee cake showed up on my doorstep. My, it is delicious! And it is such a generous size, I have shared pieces with lucky neighbors. Thank you, Val!
