Actually just the run off after a heavy rain. I liked the interest of this branch, which I think fell during the storm. I figured for Earth Day it was appropriate to concentrate on nature. This is the picture I was taking while crouching over the storm drain. When I stood up I saw my neighbor and her dog peering intently at me from across the street. When I tried to explain to her what I was doing, she just kept nodding at me after every sentence. I think it is called "humoring the delusional".
I was in the parking lot a couple of days ago shooting aspen fuzz when the school librarian walked up behind me. Knowing about my project she just said, "365?" I've gotten more than a few comments around school when I was taking "odd" shots! I just figure it's an opportunity to "educate" those around me ... like they care!
