While the vast majority of road warriors were traveling to the Northeast on I-95, we took a different route, meandering on the back roads of Virginia. The heat of the day didn't intrude in our air conditioned car and the only traffic jam was in Mineral where the Little League was having a tounament. What a wonderful way to start our vacation.
There were so many potentially great shots but no place to pull over so I had to content myself with what was right in front of me which was pretty great too!
