This squirrel was digging like a mad man the whole time I was getting my camera focused. When he finally pulled his head out of the hole he dug, I almost burst out laughing. Fortunately, I was able to restrain myself long enough to get my shot. I don't know if he was trying to disguise himself with facial hair or collect the makings of a winter home, but he definitely had a plan.
