Gardenias have such a unique fragrance. All it takes is one deep sniff of the special scent, and I am immediately transported back to Junior High. I see again my wrist corsage for the 8th Grade winter dance. They say olfactory memories are the most primitive and long lasting and I believe it. This blossom is one of many blooming on gardenia bushes on the Upper School campus.
