Tonight on a special interview with chef David Chang, I heard him say that the difference between restaurant food and home cooking is that home cooks shouldn’t lean too heavily on recipes. That was music to my ears! Tonight’s dinner started as a homemade chicken soup recipe but then I added some leftover cooked rice and a cup of homemade Bolognese sauce and finally added a package of tortellini. Perfect for a chilly evening with enough left for another day.
