Generally my patio is the Peacable Kingdom. There is enough food for all and everyone gets along. Today, however, a single mockingbird has become the Bully of the Backyard. He has been chasing everyone — from the smallest sparrow to the biggest blue Jay away. Then he just perches on a branch making sure no one tries anything. He hasn’t eaten a single thing.
Why so territorial when he was perfectly willing to coexist just a few days ago?
