We used to visit John’s sister and her family on Sanibel, the Florida barrier island devastated in the recent hurricane Ian. These are shells I collected and saved one Spring vacation. Today I washed them and thought about those days when the kids were young and the weather was perfect.
Great collection of shells! I always wanted to visit Sanibel Island because I heard about the great shelling there, but we never did. Instead we visited my parents in Stuart, Florida. Not many shells, but I have good memories of my kids on the beach there and boating with my dad.
