Our condo community has 3 laundry rooms. They have just added a high end washer and a dryer to each room. The regular machines (washers and dryers) charge $2 for a cycle. The new ones charge $3.50. They are bigger, obviously, but not twice as big. The question is whether it is worth the extra cost. Oh, and they require special high end detergent. I don’t think I want to cram my clothes and choose settings that might not be best for every item. Are those new machines appreciably better? I’ll be interested in your experience if you have used them.
