Entering Kroger I saw this eye catching display of red peppers. A little pricey but I had a back-up plan. I proceeded to the Ugly Produce shelf, on the outer edge of the department and scooped up a bag of 4 robust peppers for 99 cents. (You might also notice the bag of perfect Clementines I also found for the same price.) I don’t know who decides which produce gets sent to Siberia, but I’m loving these bargains.
