Any geologists out there? This is a feature of the sandstone rocks behind the house. They are riven by this different type of rock and I have always wondered what it is and what caused it. It reaches from the ground right to the top, or near the top which is obscuredby plant and tree growth. I do not know if it is anything to do with it but over the river there is a limestone ridge. Any ideas?
