Or not. It's really a sunny winters day in OH, but it made it into the 50's today, so it almost feels like summer. This shot (besides the winter coats, of course) reminded me a bit of a beach boardwalk scene.
We enjoyed the warmth and sun today and took a little hike to bask in it. I attempted some photos of my kids on this long bridge. Too bad the houses on the other side photobombed most of my shots. I fiddled with the aperture, but couldn't seem to get rid of them. Blasted houses! At least I could crop them out in this one.
@egad It was a total tease. Today it was in the 20's and miserable...horrid, gray and spitting ugly snow. Blah. I am glad that we had a nice day for a change. Thanks, lady!
@paul2782 Ugh, that sounds like pretty dismal weather. We got some of that today. Yesterday was a tease with nice weather. I'll take it when we get it, though. Thanks, Paul!
@fueast Yikes, we got some of that Boston cold today. It was pretty miserable. Glad to have had a nice day yesterday. How's it going in Beantown? I need to get there sometime.
@automaticslim Well perfect:)! I want to figure out how to adjust my dof better. It seems to work when it wants to, not when I change the aperture. Any pointers for how to best blur the background in a shot like this?
@soboy5 Sounds perfect. It's nuts to me how I am getting used to the cold. A day in the 30's now is a warm day to me. What am I becoming?! Pretty soon, I will be one of those weirdos who wears shorts when it is 60 out.
@barbsmith YIKES...that is cold. I will stop bewailing our 20's now:). Thanks for making me feel better, lady!
@archaeofrog They sure are. Great comments, lady. Thanks for that:)!
@worldbiking Thanks, lady. I love these bridges. I wanted to add cute kids to the already great mix of lines and shadows.
@ididntdoit87 Thank you, Hillary. You are sweet to say that!
@fullcircle Thanks, Cindy. I really appreciate lines since 365.:)
@tonydebont Thank you, Mr. Tony. So love seeing your lovely sunrise shot of the PP:)!
@kwind Thanks, Ms. Wind. Ironically, we were done with the shoot at this point and they were running back to the car. Figures that this would be the shot that worked best.
@masosy Thanks, Kate. They slept like rocks last night! So nice!:)
@wendyhgill Awesome. How cool to get that through a photo:). Thank you, sweet lady!
@emrob It was fabulous. Thanks, Mandy for your sweet comments.
@maggiemae Glad that the crop worked. Wish that I could better figure out how to use the aperture to blur the background. It seems that nothing I do works.
@happysnap You are sweet to say that, Linda...thank you!
@bpaquette Yes, maam. Gotta enjoy the good days when you have em. Today was dreadful weather.
@kbalychev It really did feel like that...I loved that the shot almost looked that way. Thank you, my friend!
@malc Aw, thanks, Malc. Really appreciate your kind comments!
@northy Thanks, sweet lady. So glad that it feels carefree. I was NOT feeling that way at the time! I want to be young again, too...so much easier...sigh...
@melody2289 Thank you, Melody!!
