Today will be spent trying to fix a stupid mistake I made yesterday. If only I made less errors...
This is one of my favorite flowers (a cone flower) just starting to bloom. It reminded me of a sunflower. The next time I saw it, it's face pointed up and it was starting to get its color.
@seanoneill I guess. Last summer I did it and it cost us a bunch of money. Over $100 in fines I think. We may have gotten them waived. I need a job! Maybe something financial, as I am soooo good with money;).
so cool magnified with it's fur edged leaves. sunflower? my eyes want it flush left, but the detail is so cool and color on color too, it just doesn't matter. fav
@northy Thanks! I like grunge. Really. But it's tough for me to get living in the 'burbs and home with 3 kids all day. I will look for grunge in New York City in a couple weeks. Surely, I can find some there!
@skipt07 Thanks, Skip. I did sharpen it up a bit. Love that tool:)! I was so impressed by the intricate detail of the bud when I saw it, though. It's almost a full size cone flower today (several days later).
@sassik Just curious, would I still show the center of it...the detail? That is why I took the photo. I did see a side facing flower today and saw how it would look, though. I will try that next time:). Thanks for the follow back!
Thank you all so much for your lovely comments on this green on green new beginning flower shot. Today, just a few days later, it is almost a full grown cone flower. I must go shoot it again in another day or two. I will probably need to bring a step stool along to be tall enough to get it with my lens. That will look mighty cool I am sure:). Hubby wasn't super into this shot. It was special to me for some reason. Tonight it is on PP (the monkey doesn't hate me afterall;-). Hubby was wrong (he he!).
