Caught up in Autumn by alophoto

Caught up in Autumn

And held tight in it's gorgeous gaze.

The changes are coming more now and I am looking forward to showing you the dramatic color.

I've been stuck at home without a car so far this week. It's amazing how I can stay at home often, but as soon as I am stuck there helpless I go a little stir crazy and think of all of the places I could be going. Yesterday, Clara and the dog and I jogged and walked around the lake to get out. It was perfect out and I packed my camera to capture fall. Today, we will probably do the same. After all, our house has been invaded by bangers and scrapers (people who are working on wood siding repair) and a break from the loud construction is nice. They have been at it for 3 days now and I am anxious for them to be gone. Having people on ladders around my windows and pounding on the sides of my house all day is a little unnerving. At least it is quiet for the moment...sigh. Be well.

And here was a quick snap of one of the men in my window yesterday...you stand in my window, and you're gonna get shot! http://365project.org/amandal/themes-challeng/2013-10-14

Maybe the people on ladders around your windows are 365ers and have seen some of your selfies and are hoping to catch you doing one! :)

It's great how you captured the details in this one, Amanda.

@skipt07 That is hilarious, Skip. At least they are making their presence quite known and not just creeping around the windows. I've been wanting to do a selfie, but nope, not with the workers around.

I've noticed a lot of this sort of thing this autumn: a perfect leaf, in beautiful color, caught on something: a fence, a web. Interrupted.
Love the web here...

Thank you all so much for your lovely comments on the fall leaf in the web. We are so in the height of fall and it is gorgeous (yet gray most days). Tonight I went for a walk and saw some lovely color. Tomorrow I hope that the weather permits for me to go out and capture it. Stay tuned...:)

@amandal -- thanks you for the nice comment! So often I get into enormously busy times and I can't comment for weeks . . . but when I do comment, I hope (and try) to make it meaningful . . . so glad to be friends on 365. Looking forward to a real live meeting some day!
