I can't believe that I am in the home stretch of my second year on 365. I'm at over 80% complete now. Starting to think about whether or not to continue and if so, in what capacity next year. I think that if I do something, it will be reduced to a post or so a week. This is a very time consuming project and has still caused me problems with my home life at times this year.
Also starting to think about my final photo and what to do. I still have my wrapping paper dress from last year...can you believe it?! It's looking a little worse for the wear, though.
Congrats and mad props to you who stick with this project, those who have completed a year or more and those who are rounding up their first years. What an accomplishment!
This is really great, love the pun. I was thinking the same thing about next year. I don't want to quit all together but it's too time consuming to post and comment all the time.
Wow Amanda - what a great job you have done of keeping up the level of commitment and quality, for not one but 2 nearly two years. I take my hat off to you! Very nice composition here. Great simplicity.
Great pop of red in this Amanda. I too am thinking about next year, but I'm only on 80% not 180%!
This community is so fantastic though, it will be hard to let go....
@adamj Don't leave, Adam...you help keep it fun around here. Maybe just cut way back to weekly or something. I though I would take it way easier this year...yeah , not so much.
Quite spectacular picture I reckon! The appreciation and encouragement one gets here is worth all the time involved to me. Perhaps only comment or post on 3 days a week! Don't know if that would work.
Beautiful shot! I hope you continue -- your work is amazing and I'd be happy to see it even once a week. Coming to the end of my first year feels totally amazing. Wondering what it would feel like to continue and imagining that I will. It's such a part of my life now. Congrats on all you've accomplished as a photographer!
Great shot Amanda as always. I hope you find a way to continue without causing problems, it's hard to find time for yourself when you have a young family.
What a great orange! So collecting and using mad props is what makes images like this work? And so encouraging to hear you are almost finished with year two . . . I'm still on year one . . .
@jyokota I liked the reflection and color and space here. No clue what makes it work, but it did for me. Not one of my best received images, but...I was so on an orange kick last week! Feeling very fall and Halloweeny and showing the orange.
@riverlandphotos Own terms sounds good. Unfortunately I like to do everything fully and to the best of my ability. I need to learn to let go more and that less is a ok! You are so sweet. Thanks, friend!!
@seanoneill I will, I think. I love it too darn much. But I still need to better figure out the balance and appropriate placement of importance with life and this. Thanks, friend!!
@pennyp Thank you, Penny. I was drawn to the space!!:)
I did the don't-miss-a-day for the first year, but knew I couldn't sustain that for a second year. I now try to post 4-5 times a week -- makes it harder to keep the momentum going, but it feels like a better balance for me.
@wendyhgill I am very loosey goosey about when I post photos (I don't shoot daily and maybe do 3-4 times per week and use the photos I like when I want to). It's my project and I can do it how i want. I just need to let the posting every day thing go, I think. Thanks so much, sweet lady!

Thanks so much for your sweet comments and encouragements, my friends. So glad that I get to share this great experience with you all!
