I've been stuck indoors all week (with the exception of trips to the doctor and pharmacy). Lucas came down with whooping cough and we have been hacking up a storm around here. And the late nights of getting up and helping him with his coughing fits are killing me. Last night was the first night in maybe 5 or so where he slept through the night. So grateful for that! Praying for wellness.
Love those shadows on the soft white and pink toned snow! Hoping you are just getting the unhealthy crud out of the way early so you can enjoy the holidays!
Beautiful lighting. Makes me almost want to be in the snow. Hope you're settling in nicely to the new home and that the rest of the winter is a healthy one.
Goodness poor you and Lucus, it must have been rather terrifying for you both, not a great start! Hopefully he has turned a corner, and sleep will return to you all! Gorgeous light and colour in this shot.
@adamj Yep, loving it, despite the coughing and the not being able to find anything parts. It took me all morning to find my camera cable. SO glad to be up and caught up again. Thanks, friend!
Best wishes to Lucas for a speedy recovery, and some respite and sleep for you. Another beautiful wintery scene for me to see while we are sweltering through summer.
glad to have you backk my friend ..and nice that things are falling in place ... very nivce pic ... like the subtle contrasts .. with the sunlight peeking thru the trees with the snow - like those shadow lines on the snow too!!
What a beautiful view to wake up to Amanda! Hope everyone is feeling better and you are all looking forward to your first Christmas in your new home! : )
Hope tis beautiful shot lightened your day,
I remember a schoolfriend having full blown whooping cough before any immunisation . AWFUL sight and sound and sickness,
wishing him a strong recovery and yourself some stamina and laugter.
Wow, gorgeous light !
Follow your stories and pictures with pleasure Amanda but also other things 'on my head' and not commenting so much, wish you all the best with your move to the other house !! And feel well soon, Lucas and you.
@sjouk You are so sweet, lady. Thank you. It's been a crazy few weeks for me, too...and looks like it will continue for the rest of the year and my project. Thanks again!
Really appreciate all of your sweet comments and words about this shot and Lucas' horrible whooping cough. He is definitely on the mend and was able to return to school this week. Praising God for that!! It allowed me to get out and take photos and get back to the gym again!! Being home bound for so long is tough!
and hope all gets well quickly
Fav. Love this view and the glistening snow.
Great titile on this shot. Well seen as they say. This is the new house?
