This week I bought Michael an ax...ax me why?! For a photo of course, and an ax is a tool that every man needs, right?
I wanted to showcase his new beard (grown in Movember and kept up a few weeks longer at our humble request) before he shaves it off. He's not much of a fan...it feels gross to him. I don't much mind it. It's a fun, hairy change. And the kids like it, too.
Isn't he dreamy?! My tall, dark, hairy and handsome lumberjack. I am one blessed lady!!
So I had the idea to start a calendar series and he will be my first month...starting with December. I may alternate between himself and I and maybe even throw the kids in the mix for a month or two, too. We'll see how it goes.
Well shoot, I didn't get to do my fun Christmas selfie that I had planned. I'll have to save it for next year. Stay tuned til then, It'll be good:).
And one last Merry Christmas for you, my friends. Thanks so very much for all of your great support and comments this week. See you soon!
Yes....he's a HUNK!! Great idea. Did you ever see the calendar that the women "of a certain age" made. They were all naked except for certain parts of their bodies .... i.e. a perfectly placed plant, or cake etc. These women were all over 50, most in their 60's and 70's. It was wonderful. It was several years ago...and he proceeds were donated. Just giving you an idea...not that you NEED any help there!
the quintessential macho man .. :-) ... fabulous .. lots of purpose and intent in that look there :-) .... wonderful to read your gushings ... am sure you make a great pair ... and he is a lucky guy :-)
this is technically really well done Amanda. You processed it perfectly. The pose and everything would lend itself well to an ad for the jeans or the shirt or the axe... or even cologne. It is very professional looking.
awesome portrait and theme idea. sounds like it's gonna be a winner of a calendar series. you are both very blessed indeed! such fun to be able to include the whole family.
Fab shot Amanda, looking forward to seeing more of your calendar pics, my old man is always swinging an axe to chop wood, don't think he'd photograph quite this well though!!
Yep ... hugely hunky! But be warned - it starts with simple fun props and next thing your coaxing him into full fireman outfit and forcing him to grow handlebar moustache! What am I saying ... u know all about outfits! Happy Christmas Amanda!
I meant to come back to this and comment, but I must have got lost in 365 land for a few days......your hubby looks like a model, a great shot of him !
