I finally do. And this is a good thing, not ones I need special shampoo for.
We've been getting morning flurries lately and I've been noticing the perfect flakes on the windows and on my jacket and decided to try catching them again.
Last year this time, I just had the 55-200mm lens which I could not get to focus on a flake. This year I gave it a go with a 15-55mm. No it's not a macro, but It'll do, donkey, It'll do.:)
Pretty happy with my flake found on my car window, I believe. Now I have a request to get two side by side to see how different they are.
terrific snowflake! I tried this last winter with my 18-55 and was not very successful...will try again this year and see what I can do. New England has not offered many flake opportunities yet, but I am sure it is coming...
it's a happy feeling when you knew you caught one, wasn't it? i felt excited and giddy, too, last year when i did. but it's not off my bucket lit yet. wonderful shot, kiddo!
Great shot of the flake. We've had more frost than snow so far this year. Wish we would have a really BIG snowfall, but it's not looking promising at the moment.
