Last weekend there was an event at Spring Grove Cemetery and we happened to be visiting, too. Hadn't gone for the event, but to show my family the lovely place in spring and look for my great great grandmothers grave.
The chapel was open so we took advantage of that opportunity to see inside.
Just lovely inside. Amazing architecture and a gorgeous stained glass window.
One of my good friends got married there years ago. Such a perfect venue.
Anyhoo, I was shooting down the isle and asked my son to stand in the doorway for me. He obliged for a second. Glad he did.
@linnypinny@bella_ss Thanks so much, ladies...those story type shots are my absolute faves:). So glad you liked it, too. I need to write the stories, perhaps.
@kevin365 You are so so kind. Thank you. Always thought the art genes eluded me. My family is very artistic and I was not. So glad to have found my art niche:).
This is an amazing capture!! Absolute FAV, and perfect in B&W....the sense of mystery, anticipation, and longing that lone figure at the doorway conveys is pretty powerful!
