I am always in search of a good bargain. Truth be told, I got these guys for FREE. I may have annoyed a neighbor by standing in their lawn for about 10 minutes shooting these beauties. Maybe I should ask should I go back again.
Mike and I had a scare with Clara last night. She was having major asthma issues where she was really struggling to breathe. After a few harrowing minutes, some inhaler puffs, a bath and rocking her in my rocking chair, we got her calmed down. And then she slept through the night. Trying not to worry as it does no good. But I was up at 5 and for the rest of the night thinking about her health, work stuff (I missed a week of work due to sick kids and me and August is coo coo crazy) and praying and trying like mad not to worry/stress.
She seems herself and perkier today. Praise God for that.
A really beautiful capture - the colors with the dark background really pop - a fav for me. I'm glad to hear the little one is much better today - breathing problems can be scary stuff (and the more frightened you become, the worse it gets)
Beautiful picture... So sorry to hear you had that scare w Clara... Children's health issues are so worrisome... Hope you have smooth sailing for the next few weeks... Who looks after the kids while your at work?
Wow, what a bargain!! I"d be in heaven!! Of course I sneak (or just walk) over to our neighbor's yard when his magnolias are in bloom!! He will come out and laugh at me and ask me if I need a ladder to get higher!! I made a photo of one and framed it for him, so he doesn't mind me in his yard at all! Your neighbor would probably LOVE this photo in a frame!!! Love the POV and the butterfly bush bloom!!
Asthma is so scary and especially for the one that has it!! I had it as a kid and out grew it by age 23. I was early pregnant and had an attack and it threw me into labor. They stopped the labor, controlled the asthma and that was the last time I ever had an attack. Let's hope Clara doesn't have to wait that long to out grow her's and pray she does out grow it!! FAV!
@amandal - I just saw the part about Clara. I guess I was in a hurry to post comments on people's pages who commented on mine. I know exactly what you went through after seeing our daughter mothering our granddaughter after she had her tonsils removed. Very little sleep and lots of prayers!
@lesip Yes, she has had a rough time. So many little issues. I had hoped going off gluten would help. Luckily asthma is just occasional with colds and sickness not constant.
Hey friend. Fab Swallowtail picture. It is lovely to have some time on holiday to check in on 365 and come and visit you. Best wishes to Clara. Kids being ill isn't good. I hope all is well in your world apart from that. Auntie Amanda!! I just saw your other pic!!
@amandal Well I'll be darned! :-) I thought you would probably be an Aunt rather than an Auntie, but not a Mandy, I thought that was a very English derivation of Amanda.
I am probably Auntie, too. We do both. I call my sister Aunt Katie to the kids and Auntie at times. I got the Mandy moniker because of Barry Manilow. Shaking my head sadly:).
