Day 2 of the cruise we hit their own private island, Coco Cay in the Bahamas. It started with yoga on the beach (awesome, but for the sand that stuck to our sweaty bodies and the fact that there were buildings blocking the ocean view). And then a 2 hour kayak around the island...luckily not all of it. And then we finished up with a quick snorkel in the amazingly clear water where we got to witness some sea life including a giant tuna. The snorkeling was the best part because we also got to see some sunken wrecked planes...Mike even dove down and touched one. KIcking myself for not having an underwater camera as the sights were so stinkin' cool.
I miss the beach. Grew up going regularly in FL. Had access and went some in CA and now we are landlocked in OH. Spending days at the beach was just what the doctor ordered. A summer staple.
We even got to do one beach day with our kids the day we got back.
Awesome story and fun time....yes life is better at the beach...you have channeled Joey a bit here....love the umbrella and that sans...wooooo a private beach too!
Nice vacation shot. One of my all time favorite days was on a private island in the Caribbean. Tropical breezes, bikinis, snorkeling, hammocks, margaritas and Jimmy Buffett. Ah, the memories...
ahhh....can almost smell the sun tan lotion :) Nice shot and what a fun sounding vacation !! We just came back from a week in Oregon - lots of fun and time to trip around happily camera in hand .
