And here was where we ate dinner on the ship every night but for one on the cruise. We felt very fancy and met a really great family at our table.
There were two dinner times a night, three levels of dining room (Leonardo's, Issac's and Galileo's) and 4,000+ passengers to feed. It was a nearly 2 hour affair that left us very satisfied.
@jocasta Lots and lots of staff. Over 1,000 staff members on board and they were all so amazing, helpful and friendly. We were super impressed. I actually miss the guys that waited on us for dinner...they were very sweet. One was from Croatia and one was from Indonesia. The staff was very international.
I've never been on a cruise, and probably never will, so it's nice to see your photo. The only time I've seen something like this is in "Poseidon Adventure" and "Titanic!"
My wife and I are seasonal Cruisers, and I am an X Merchant Seaman, my first ship was in 1965 as a lad of 17 years, and sailed on some wonderful ships, Queen Mary, QE2 and so on. The I sailed on Tankers all round the world, great life.
