Someone in this lovely community blessed me with my albums back and a renewal of my lapsed Ace membership. Someone made me nearly cry. Thank you!!! I love being part of such a community. I feel as if I know many of you, though we have never met and probably never will. I feel as if we are friends.

Love your photo and did not know what it meant on FB. Just read this. What happened? You have been on here forever, posting most of the time too. I better make sure I am ok too. I used to keep my photos in iPhoto in order till iPhoto changed and I cannot do things the old way just in case. Glad everything worked out for you. I cannot imagine photos disappearing. FAV for this photo. Definitely looks like the old days.
@darsphotos@annied@eyesmile I just had my ACE membership expire...I had been out of town for awhile and then didn't get to it immediately and when I did I couldn't remember my paypal password and gave up. One day, I guess it was up and my extra albums (2 of them including my first year), was gone. That's how it is without ACE...just one album. Not sure if they would come back if I renewed, I didn't renew. I'd be upset if I paid and didn't get my photos back. It was just a bummer and kind of upsetting, but it was really my fault and problem. I think I will move my first year over to my current main album so should I expire again at least I will have my main 365 shots.
So clever! I know the reason you didn't renew, but the magnanimity of people is the same in this story: when I was pregnant with our 4th (27 years ago), it was a surprise and at a very low time financially. I didn't work and Charlie hadn't had a raise in 4 years (in fact, a year later the company folded--that's when he started his own business). We had no medical insurance either. One of my friends told my doctor about our circumstances, and he waived his fee.
@cejaanderson Aw, that is awesome...so kind and helpful. We've struggled some over the years with me not working and Mike being laid off. We have been blessed with random cash in the mail, gift cards, free school tuition...amazing how generous people can be to those in need. I want to look for ways to bless others when I can.

@amandal Had my first dives in Malta today saw an octopus, jellyfish, rays and a gurnard flying fish which was really special. The worst of the shingles (feel free to pronounce it with a French accent, I do) is over I think and the sea water has actually been good for it today so hopefully it'll be gone entirely soon. Thanks for your thoughtfulness x
@amandal great selfie, and I'm glad to read everything worked out and you got your albums back. I've never been an ACE member, but I save all the photos I post to 365 on my computer and back up disc. I have them saved by year.
