Saw this at my front door (it's the same mama from a few weeks back) and was fascinated. Wish I had a macro lens, but hey, what I have aint bad and mostly gets the job done. This morning I looked out and she is fat and happy and he is still dead and perhaps a little deflated.
This inspired Mike and I to have the discussion of what would be the worst death by animal or creature. I'm thinking having your guts turned to slushie and sucked out by a spider would not be so fun.

@northy The one is brown thankfully. It may not have been a mate but just some poor unfortunate spider caught in her web. I've seen her eating other spiders before. Such a cannibal!
