I left my jacket at a neighbors and had to run back and get it. And I was leisurely coming home because of the springy beauty in this yard.
This is one of my very favorite spring trees, the tulip magnolia. We have two in our backyard which I love, but they seemed to have suffered from the cold this weekend and don't look so pretty this year. S'okay. There are others to enjoy.

We are taking a staycation this year and hope to have some local fun...movie, butterfly exhibit, ice cream and such.
