We just got back from a whirlwind one day trip to Niagara Falls last night. We went and crashed some of our best friends' family vacation. The wife is actually, one of my longest friends from growing up. We've been friends for nearly 30 years, since 7th grade.
We did Niagara Falls right this time. You may remember we went a couple years back, but only popped in as my youngest was sick.
This time we spent a full day seeing the falls from every angle. In front, behind, on the side, from way above and even got to see them lit up at night.
It was an incredible day with dear friends.
And I have tons of photos to sort (only 300). From what I could tell, though, this was my fav from the day.
4 of our 5 kids in the group (one in the photo is Christa's son, Sam and the other 3 are mine) in the porthole that peeks out behind the falls. This is what the falls look like from the other side. Intense and powerful.
Anyway, be prepared to tour the falls with me this week:).
