I often feel spacey for a bit in the morning. Until the coffee kicks in.
This color jolt woke me right up, however.
Yesterday you saw an ICM abstract or version that I created with intentional camera movement and today, here is how it looked regular, zoomed in to the utmost of color.
I just love the tangle of branches, the blackness of them crisscrossing the vibrant morning color.
It's quite a different feel this way, huh?

Hope you have a colorful day. Today starts my 4 day weekend with my kids off--a little annoyed by another break as they just went back to school last week, but...we'll make the best of it.
We have a bunch of fun planned so hoping it will be a good day, once I come out of the fog of morning!

I thought about you last night as I was capturing a tree against the sunset, thinking it was quite reminiscent of these morning shots you got. I've been under the weather this week, so early early bedtime, but hopefully I'll have enough energy this afternoon to process them. Each has its place. I was going to say the first one, because it affected me more, but when I set the two side by side, I much prefer this one. I guess, in thinking about it, that this one's got the happy feel you're talking about, while the other has a lachrymose feel.
