There is Nothing Like the Bond Between Mother and Child

This was a sweet candid from my nephew's birthday party. Loved the connection between mother and son.

Today, one of my long ago best friends buries her mother. A few years back she lost her father, too. She is younger than me, still in her 30s, and now has no living parents. It's heartbreaking. I am praying for her to be comforted and upheld today...to remember that she still has her Father in Heaven who will never leave her. Praying for my dear friend, Karin, today.
