I'm currently reading the Little House on the Prairie series to my girls. I got sick of waiting to know what would happen as we read it so infrequently and am finishing it up on my own. I was dying to know the story of her and Almanzo, her future husband.
Enjoy, I loved the series but never read the book. You might the series Love Comes Softly its about 10 videos, watched it with my granddaughter when she was younger and we still remember and talk about it. Has good Christian values for the family to watch. Highly recommend it you live Little House on the Prairie, I think Michael Landon son directed or produced it.
Great series, and I also liked the "Love Comes Softly" tv series Catherine Mitchell mentioned above. Two of my favorite books from that genre are "Julie" and "Christy" by Catherine Marshall. There was a tv series based on the novel "Christy". Little House on the Prarie was a wholesome series, too. Really like your photo, one your children will treasure some day, and one you can treasure in your 'golden' years as you look back at how your love has grown through the years.
A lovely shot of you both. When I used to read to my boys, I would often read to the end after they went to bed. There are such great stories for kids now.
My mom actually adores the tv series of Little House on the Prairie. I'm not sure if she ever read the books, I'll have to ask. I just know that her with Almanzo is her absolutely favorite part of the series. Adorable shot of you two by the way.
What a nice matching of your photo and your narrative. When our daughter was in elementary school, we did not have a television. We read all the Little House books together, and when Laura and Almonzo go out on a buggy ride and he kisses her--that was our daughter's introduction to romance. Rather healthy and sweet!
