Yesterday, it was my turn to be COVID tested. I've been feeling off with slight symptoms for a couple/few days.
My rapid test results came back negative. Now I await the more accurate 3-5 day results.
I had to test twice and administer the test myself. It was at the back door of my doctor's office and felt so strange and sketchy to be dealing with staff all hazmatted up and through a shower curtain.
Such strange, crazy times. And the waiting is so hard for me to do...
@jyokota I'm fairly sure I will pass with flying colors. So far so mild for both son and I. I guess getting it and surviving would be ok and keep me feeling safer working with kids in close contact. But ugh...just want to know.
Such a weird time hey. I had a test done about 2 months ago. It was super easy as it was a drive up test with appointment times. Negative at least. Then my daughter had one done a few weeks later which was also negative. For kids here in BC they do a saliva gargle and spit test at least. But for peace of mind, it's a good thing! My nose hurt too!!
@alophoto I have pretty serious allergies and have been on and off of allergy shots for decades, plus meds. So I sniffle and cough and have symptoms that suddenly -- this year -- I think, oh no, when really it's just my normal self. I miss you, too, and was happy to imagine your smile through the mask. We've been around a long time here! Be sure to let us know how your test turns out!
Miss you. Hugs!!!
