I call these guys chipmunks, but I think they are really called ground squirrels. They are pretty pesty as they dig holes in your yard, but I still think they are so darn cute.
The first play I was ever in in 1st grade, I was a chipmunk so they are near and dear to my heart.
According to Siri chipmunks have a stripe under their eye. Since I see that little stripe I think this is a chipmunk not a ground squirrel. Either way it’s a precious cute shot and I enjoy watching them too.
