Today.... I thank for all that I have....
As I was passing by, of course , sub -conciously... looking out for a picture, I stopped and clicked a picture of sleep.... oblivious of its surroundings.
The waves lapping against the wall, the cars, buses, traffic and all. Clutching onto his prized possessions...
A bottle green....
A metal plate....
A bundle with his home inside it....
A newspaper bundle at his feet....
The sun glorious above him....
A gentle breeze about....
In his world of dreams.....
Sound asleep.....
This makes me thankful for the warm, soft bed I just stumbled out of 5 minutes ago. And safe. Let's not forget I was safe while I slumbered. Nice capture. It certainly makes a person think.

Wonderful photo, Amrita. Along with your poem it is very thought provoking. It does give you pause to be thankful. And then my other thought is this guy is very enterprising. With sleep, possesions and life.

Such a lovely poem. A wonderful capture so full of humanity. A fav for me too! Look forward to your project and feel that i have missed a few days. We have been so busy with company and play tour guide. But things are getting back to normal.
