Walked some park trails along Lake Huron today and surprised to see this coyote walking near the shoreline. Read later that January-March is breeding season for coyotes so more likely to see them.

I noticed that tail too…they are evidently prone to “mange mites” which cause them to itch/scratch/lose fur. Generally considered to be wary of humans, they can be a problem if they get too used to people. Have been known to attack pets.
