@jeneurell thanks, Jennifer. I had a P900 and liked it a lot; managed to break it (went out on a wooden viewing platform at a wildlife refuge & foot went through some rotten wood). Bought the P1000 which is pretty similar but heavier. Kind of miss the P900!

@amyk I hope you didn't break a leg as well! I have two heavy full frame cameras so love the lightness and flexibility of the P900. Good luck with the next challenge.
