My girlfriend started the long trip back home to Calcutta today to see her parents and family. Emirates had problems with their check-in desks meaning delays leaving Gatwick. This menas she only has 40 minutes to catch her connecting flight in Dubai.. Still all up in the air at this moment in time (quite literally...) but think she should make it...
My journey is slightly different - I have been entrusted with looking after her son until she returns... Yiks... I've only every looked after myself, a cat and 3 goldfish in the last 40 years..
