Bit of a boring shot of the Thames at Rainham looking West. The turbines on the horizon are at the Ford motor plant in Dagenham. They are huge when up close.
The water was very still this evening, and whilst the sky looks fairly ok, I did mess about in picassa to make it a little more interesting than it originally was...
Good afternnon at work - went to one of our resident led forums where there was a coup with the chair being voted out and a new guy elected.
Got quite hostile at times and nearly ended up in fisticuffs, with one rather angry resident having to be restrained from landing one on the out going chair... all good stuff and local politics at its best :-)
This looks like the restful setting you needed after such an active roust-about of an afternoon! We were both sort of sky-gazing today... Glad you enjoyed the sound of our dinner last night...you always have such delicious-sounding meals, it's fun to share something in exchange!
I think this is great - not boring at all - you get a feel for the flat, wet Essexness of it - the sky's great and the silhouettes of turbines and other stuff on the horizon. Isn't there an RSPB bird reserve around here?
Don't think this is boring at all. The colors are gorgeous I like the turbines, their straightness compliments the curves of the shoreline. nicely done
I love this, the reflection on this is just great!
I need to fav this.
Nothing wrong with using Picasa. Big fan of it.
