Took out my (well, works) new D5000 tonight for a practice run. Had a wander around Rainham bird reserve.
Verdict? Yep, it's good. Took plenty of nice snaps but settled on this view of clouds reflected on water near one of he numerous reed beds as the sun was starting to set... The reserve is at Rainham marshes so there's plenty of these little water ways dotted about.
Took some good flower pics, decent macro shots and a great close up of a slug!!! But thought this a nicer shot and I've uploaded more than enough flowers!!!
Did I see any birds though? A few, not sure what most were but nothing worth snapping.
Beautiful!! congrats on your new camera. I have the D3000 which is almost the same but no video and I love it. Good-bye Italy INDEED, was a great last 15 minutes though.
If you do visit kerala....visit when its the right season. The place i went (munnar) if u visit in the right season the hills will be completely blue instead of green ...full of flowers !! And make sure you are with someone who knows the place.
And talking of the Raavan movie....its a big flop here!! The tamil version of the movie is said to be better....its just a masala movie . No one makes sensible movies here...everything is business. Hope u had a good time watching the places atleas.
World Cup: and although I have Italian ancestors, I was happy with the defeat of Italia
thanks for the comment on my picture---I found out the building's history and added it if you're interested :)
