Hot, sticky and humid today! Too hot and too bothered for a better photo other than a quick snap from the platform at West India Quay DLR station.
The tower, called No1 West India Quay is a mixture of flats and 5* hotel - it was the scene for a recent Brit gangster flick but the name escapes me... In the background is a former warehouse, now trendy bars and clubs.
West India Dock, unsurprisingly, this was once the place where boats from the West Indies would dock and off load their wares, mainly rum and sugar.
Got hot and sweaty walking to Hackney and back this afternoon - def shorts and t-shirt weather. Gonna get hotter over the next few days - pushing 90...!!
Ended the day by popping to the swimming pool then sauna (as if I wasn't hot enough already!!!)
