Yep... I'm afraid so... I just couldn't resist going down to the river this evening and snapping away just as the sun was setting.
This probably isn't the best photo I took tonight, but it was the first one I took and I really like the sky and wispy clouds together with the reflection on the water.
I also like the building silhouted in the distance. It reminds me of a mosque!
I started to play around with the cameras settings, shutter speed, some of the pre-set options and in general, I took quite a few decent photos, but as is often the case, it's the first snap I took that I'm going with.
I also took a really good photo with my phone that I sent to my girlfriend and was in two minds whether to upload that one. I was really impressed with the quality from essentially, a phone!
Someone once started a thread about what do you tend to take or something like that - I think sunsets and the River Thames play a big part in my project!
I've been selected for jury service in a couple of weeks - which is something I've always wanted to do and am really looking forward to. Trouble is, September is a really busy time at work what with producing the annual report and holding our AGM so with only 2 more days and all of next week, I think I'm going to be rushed off my feet...
If that's the case... be prepared for more sunset and/or river photos!!!
Ohhh Jury duty. I've been called up 3 times, and each time, the night before I call up, I listen to the recorded message and I am not needed. I am so grateful that ive never had to go!
Keep up the good work Andy, and I look forward to your many more sunset/river photos :o)
oh wow thanx for popping by my last shot and commented it made come see ur sunset and it is stunning , love all the different tones and those whispy clouds are spot on ... fav for me
Wow this is amazing - great colours and love the random wispy cloudy bits - I almost thought it was Istanbul for a moment there - with a mosque on the horizon.
This is fab, everything about it is right!
