Am quite pleased with how this has come out. I know I've taken a photo of Guildford Cathedral a few weeks back, but that was in daylight so when I was driving home this evening, I thought I would stop off a grab snap of the building lit up against the night sky.
So I parked up, took some snaps and was heading back to my car when I noticed the reflection of the cathedral on the roof of my car!
This is a long exposure shot, with me holding the camera steady on my roof and cropped. Nothing else...
I did think about moving the car to a few different positions to see how things would turn out, but I was too tired and just wanted to get home...
Apart from taking photos, I've spent about 6 hours driving, watched Pompey draw 0-0 with Ipswich (Thought we played quite well and the signs look promising) and sepnt a few hours with Ma & Pa...
I love the blacked out sky
Might need to try this kinda thing myself, and if it works well on "filthy" cars, then I will be fine :o)
