You can tell Fall... or should that be Autumn... is just around the corner (although it was glorious and warm today). Especially when you find an apple tree with loads of fallen apples under it's heavy branches.
I stopped off at Coalhouse Fort again after today's court action for something to snap. I was expecting to actually photograph the fort (having not done so on Monday) but as soon as I spotted this tree I knew this will be my photo for today.
I nearly had a Newton moment whilst I was snapping away, with a apple falling not 2 feet in front of me...
Pic taken with my P&S then processed using Lightroom to try for a slightly vintage look. Fairly happy with the way this has come out.
Hurray!!! After 2 days of twiddling my thumbs, I was finally selected for jury service. The case is an assult one, neighbour onto neighbour... Should last a couple of days and is quite interesting.

Andy I just saw this in the Top 10. It is a favorite for many reasons. Love the processing and the angle it was shot from. Agree with Sophie that it has a storybooks feel.
