Whilst I like the set up of this photo,it didn't come out exactly how l hoped, with the blown out lights and buildings on the far shore. Probably a bit too light and I didn't need a 25 second exposure.
But after taking a few shots my hands were starting to turn numb so I called it quits for the day...
This was taken at Greenhithe near Bluewater, resting the camera on a post. It was a little windy so think there was a touch of shake caused by the breeze.
Had the day off today - I've still got 15 days leave to use by 31 March, and I'm a little undecided whether to take a week off in Feb and March and carry a week forward to work 4 day weeks for the next few months.... Tough decisions eh!!!
Picked up a few last minute bargins in the last of the sales today... 2 shirts for £10 each and a pair of trousers for £30, fifty squid spent, usual list price £130... always love a deal..
Really like it! Bit to close to Bluewater for my liking (cold shiver!). RE: Gypsy Wedding - God Damn that's a pink dress and ooh what a lovely discrete slit in the dress!
I love the forground in this though, the shadows and textures are amazing. Good on you for finding such a bargain. When that happens to me I always exclaim how I just made money on the deal!
Oh man, what I wouldn't give for 15 days off. I'm in the hole after our trip to England and am desperate for trip to Mexico or something. I like the colors of the reflections in the water. Not sure what it would like with more detail/less exposure, but I like what you got.
I like the reflections and the water movement in this photo. I do agree with less exposure. Now those gypsy weddings...where do they come up with that stuff, too much poof! Very funny...
Love the whispy clouds smoke in the distance.
