This probably isn't the best tilt-shift you'll ever see, but when you have a pretty boring shot of work going on building the huge Crossrail station at Canary Wharf, something had to be done and remembering Aaron L's tilt-shift the other day ( http://365project.org/azza_l/other-stuff/2011-04-08), I thought I'd give it a go tonight.
I've given myself an evening off from census work tonight... Pounding the streets and a couple of trips down to Portsmouth in the last week have left me feeling a bit knackered so I thought I'd have a lazy evening laying on the sofa watching the box..
Got some good news tonight, my bank wrote to me saying they are crediting my mortgage account with £1500 because of an error regarding bank base rates... I'd rather have a cheque and will give them a call tomorrow to see if it's possible...
Andy, that's an excellent use of tilt-shift. Turns it from a standard construction shot into a standard construction shot that is also a piece of art. Super stuff!
I love these type of shots I only came across them here. I think it was Murray who used to do them. As everyone says it makes a normal scene loook so interesting....like a model village :-) On another tack, I must have missed your news about the census work. I did door to door in 2001 and I use census archive everyday. What is it you have to do?
@Cherrill yeah, I think it was Murray who use to do this type of thing every so often... I did this in 2001 as well and nothing's changed... Still door knocking ssaying th esame old thing time after time... that's if people bother answering the door lol
nice to hear of banking error in your favour - sounds like a Monopoly game.
and then collect your £1500 and pass go.
