Went fruit picking today... Scoffed more strawberries than we bought (had to tell Sangeeta this is how PYO works lol)...
Once home, I decided to make a flan - well, bought a ready made flan and some ready made jelly and picked some mint from the garden..!! So hardly home made!!
Been busy for the last few days so haven't had much time to check the site and comment.. will try to catch up tonight..
Even if it is not fully home-made, with fresh strawberries it tastes like one :) Can't wait to get fresh ones here in Finland too.. should take couple of weeks before they are ready.
What a keeper you are, those cooking skills and all! I love the pleasure of berry picking when we're in NS (blueberries & raspberries). Here we can buy strawberries at neighborhood stands, fresh picked from the fields. 'tis the season!
was just trying to convince myself I don't need any more sweets tonight...then along comes this great shot of a delicious flan hehehehe...I can never win! :)
