Apparently the troubles are spreading and looting is taking place in Birmingham tonight...
All quite surreal as I sat in the jacuzzi at the gym watching rioting taking place not 15 miles away (yeah, yeah... my gym has tv's in the swimming/jacuzzi area...)
What I watched was were youths throwing stones, bottles at police, but by the time I got home, things were much worse and loads of building on fire...
Oh, pic is a couple of angel headstones taken again at rippleside cemetery as I picked up my car after passing it's MOT re-test.

Love this - I think the rioters will claim that it's people who watch the telly from their gym jacuzzi that drives them to smash shop windows!! As in 'this is to get back at rich people with businesses' .... hmmm would those be the same businesses that have just had to sack a load of people who really needed the wage and will never reopen because they were barely making ends meet? Andy, I watched the news and this is terrible. I spoke to a few people and asked what started it all and it was vague abaout some guy been shot dead, but I dont think it is about this anymore. I hope you and yours are safe.

Beautiful shot. The riots are sounding terrible, so bad the US news is actually carrying them - you know it's bad if the US news agencies consider overseas news worth reporting. Usually they only tell us something if "American's were killed."
