Discovered tonight that 8 seconds is the very limit I can hold a camera steady on a handrail before a wobble sets in...
I know this has been done before (heck! I've even done it before) and been done better than this, but there's something I always like about iconic buildings and long exposure traffic shots...
On other news today, gave the works credit card a £300 bashing buying 50 or so pressies for the Under 10s Christmas party...
great job Andy, take my hat off to you. It may have been done before but this is a great shot. I went down there the other week with the old tripod and didn't get anthing I was happy with. Obviously the handrail is the way to go!
cheers guys... @cookie123@adeakinyede@cora@klemieux@rich57 it's like... steady, steady, steady then a twitch jumps up on you from nowhere... was a bit nippy out tonight too so happy to only be here for 10 mins.. but must get a tripod or gorilla pod thingy.. Hmmm Christmas pressie perhaps :-)
Still so cool looking, no matter who does it or how many times. It must be something about the lines of the tower bridge that add to the shot. Get yourself a gorillapod and stop the wobble, LOL.
Excellent shot. I love these long exposure night shots. It's the one thing I havnt done yet (well there's lots I havnt done yet). I think I'm caught up here now. :)
