Flippin ache after just a one hour gym session last night, so thought I'd give it a miss tonight and instead jumped on the train to St Paul's and took some shots..
I was surprised to see the protest camp still there, as it's all gone quiet in the press about them..
I wasn't exactly sure what to take but as luck would have it, this old style routemaster came along and kindly stopped at a zebra crossing...
Off to celebrate pancake day now in the only acceptable way... with a drizzle of lemon juice :-)...
Bottoms! I completely forgot it was pancake day! Nice bus at zebra crossing shot - you have the edge with your retro Routemaster - have you seen the new ones in the offing?
Very nice. Did you get more photos of the Occupiers? Would love to see those. I imagine the press believes if they stop writing about them they will go away. I don't think so.
@islawight only in the paper but hope they have that comfy spacious back seat :-) @tunes@fueast cheers guys.. wasn't sure if I'd over done it with the edit in fact.. @beetle365 pure lucky moment mate that I'd just got the camera out as the bus pulled up..
great shot - love the vintage look...can't believe that protest is still there! I'm gunna ache like a goodun tomorrow - my back is already wrecking. Maybe we should just give up and eat pies and be happy with becoming lardy!!
Fantastic processing, I saw this/ a similar old bus in London last week, and couldn't get a good shot of it. You have nailed it though. How did you process it?
New ones released today I according to LBC also the protest went through courts last week those buggers should be gone by now as they lost their appeal
