Up at 5am to head to the Gangees as it was an auspicious day for devotees of Kali and West Bengali Hindus.. I was told off for taking pics of people bathing but when I saw some Indian guys taking shots I decided it was ok to join in :-)
The walk up to the ghat, or bathing spot, was full of people missing limbs begging for a few ruppees which was both sad but as someone who wants to take photos, difficult to walk past...
In the afternoon, Sangeeta's niece and husband came over to her parents for lunch... Nice to finally meet all her family...
